Movember Manicure

Hello everyone. It has been a long absence but I have a fun manicure to share with you. I was sent some adorable mustache charms from KKcenterHk which were perfect for the fun Movember theme that so many guys take part in each November.

I'm in love with these charms! They have great color, shape and are super strong. Each charm is slightly arched, which allowed it to lay pretty flat on my nails, which was a nice change from nail charms I've reviewed before. I wanted to keep this manicure simple so the mustache would get all the attention. I used my favorite gold from Orly, Glitz & Glamour along with Sinful Colors Snow Me White.

What do you think? What colors would you have paired with the mustache? Do you think this manicure is too plain?

Day Seven - Tape Manicure

Hi all! Day seven and today's theme is a tape design. I love using tape or striping tape for manicures. It allows you to do fun designs with awesome precision.One of my all time favorite tape designs was done by Sophie over at My Awesome Beauty. I really wish I had the brain power to come up with this design on my own, but it's all Sophie. Even her color choices are perfect for this Valentine themed challenge.

Opulence, I Has It

I've been holding on to Zoya's Gilty Pleasures for awhile. There is something very exciting about being able to feel glamorous and luxurious just by painting your nails.  I needed to pick the right color worthy of being paired up with real gold. Looking through my nail polish stash I found Pure Ice's No Means No. For me it is the perfect high life pairing.

Gilty is a real 18K gold clear base top coat. Gilty screams opulence and is a dream to apply. This is one coat and goes on flawlessly. No fishing needed.

Goldie is a two toned gold metallic with a small, but marvelous shimmer. With smooth application I imagine this is what real gold in liquid form feels like. This is three coats.

No Means No is a rich dark purple with subtle blue and pink shimmer. Super easy to work with  and fully opaque in two coats, A real complement to the gold, this lovely purple completed my regal nail look
