Julie G - Frosted Gumdrop Collection (Part One)

I'm very excited to show everyone some of Julie G's Frosted Gumdrop Collection. I pre-ordered this yummy collection from Julie's website Jesse's Girl Cosmetics for $20.01. A price I felt was extremely affordable for a new collection containing six polishes. This collection is right on trend with the sand and pixie polishes carried by O.P.I and Zoya. The even better news is that Julie G's polishes are sold at Rite Aide for $3.99 where O.P.I and Zoya are $9 each.

The whole Frosted Gumdrop collection has great formula and vibrant colors. All of these polishes are nearly one coaters, which is always nice when it comes to removal. The roughness of the polish is subtle and just right for the look you're trying to achieve.

Blueberry Fizz

Sugar Rush

I really like these polishes. I have swatched the remaining colors of the collection but for some reason the pictures do not want to transfer to my computer. So tomorrow, while off from work, I plan on trying to get them posted, or redo swatches. Stay tuned.

Sunset Gradient Chevrons

Hi all. I have a quick post for you showing you my sunset gradient, I love gradients and love using tape. Soooo ta-da!

I really love these three colors together. Looking at it, it makes me think of fun and happy things. The gradient on my pink is my favorite. It looks perfect to me. Please ignore my tip wear, this manicure was two days old by the time I got to take photos, and I really slacked on hydrating my hands.

Do certain colors make you feel a certain way or think of certain things? What is your favorite colors to use for gradients?

Colors Used
Sinful Colors - Snow Me White
Sinful Colors - Cotton Candy
Zoya - Pippa
Wet N Wild - Sunny Side Up

Color Club - Cosmic Fate

Color Club really got their entire Halo Hue collection nailed down. I honestly, can not be more impressed with these colors. Such wow factors and amazing holographic sparkle. Here is Cosmic Fate.

Cosmic Fate is a pale orange with light pink undertones. This holographic stunner, color changes from orange to yellow and pink to purple. Great formula and nearly a one coater, along with an amazingly fast dry time. This is two coats plus a top coat.

I still have a few more polishes from Color Club to show you. Stay tuned, you wont be disappointed.

Metallic Skittle Chevrons

For some reason I've been running really low on ideas for my nail art. Whenever painters block happens, chevrons are usually my go to pattern. I love how simple chevrons are to do, and they still give you an arty look.

Kleancolor's Retro City Metallic Colors
L-R  Metallic Orange, Metallic Black, Metallic Green, Metallic Aqua, Metallic Fuschia

These five colors are from Kleancolor's Retro City mini collection. A fun set of six intense and bright metallic colors. I only used five of the six colors  because when I bought the set Metallic Sapphire was dried up and unusable. :( This is one coat of each Kleancolor color. Great coverage and the color pop is amazing! I wish these weren't minis so I didn't have to use these polishes sparingly.

Wet 'n Wild Silvivor is an awesome notice me right now metallic silver. The shimmer is intense and really made the Kleancolors stand out!

I loved the final result. Not super over the top, but more fun than wearing just one color. What is your go to nail pattern? Love or hate metallic colors? Let me know.
